Summer Institute 2018

The Teach For Lebanon (TFL) Summer Institute is a six-week training on Education Pedagogy for the newly on-boarded Cohort 10 Fellows, where they develop a theoretical understanding of the frameworks of teaching as well as specific techniques needed to teach all subject areas at all levels.
This training program, certified by the Lebanese American University - LAU, took place at their campus, in Jbeil, from July 27th till August 3^rd 2018.

The theoretical sessions were sponsored by BLOM BANK and certified by accredited professional trainers from the Lebanese American University’s Continuous Education Program (CEP).

Mrs. Diala Sobh kicked off the 2018 Teach For Lebanon Summer Institute’s theoretical sessions sponsored by BLOM BANK. She gave an inspiring speech about the importance of Education and BLOM’s corporate social responsibility strategy. Teach For Lebanon is very grateful for its trusted partners and their commitment toward positive change.

It is thanks to such valuable supporters that Teach For Lebanon is able to sustain its mission, providing quality Education for all children and building a generation of leaders that will work towards the vision of a better Lebanon.

Part of the Fellow teachers’ learning was the Summer School practical training, with real students from Byblos Public School, which ended by a final ceremony on July 31^st 2018.
